Definitions
"Licensed Software" means Univers' proprietary EnOSTM IoT Platform ("Platform") and the modules or applications developed for or running on the Platform (including Web, iOS, Android, and other application versions, API, and SDK), in object code form, and their associated Documentation included in, or provided for use with, such Licensed Software;
"Customer" means a customer that has procured the license rights to the Licensed Software pursuant to a separate Subscription Agreement with Univers;
"Data Controller" means the natural or legal person, public authority, agency, or other body which, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the Processing of Personal Information;
"Data Processor" means a natural or legal person, public authority, agency, or other body which Processes Personal Information on behalf of the Controller;
"Data Protection Laws" means any applicable data protection regulations and laws;
"Personal Information" means any information recorded electronically or otherwise that may identify a specific natural person or reflect the activities of a particular natural person, individually or in combination with other information;
"Process" or "Processing" or "Processes" means any operation or set of operations that is performed on Personal Information or sets of Personal Information, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction;
"Subscription Agreement" means the applicable agreement(s) between the Customer and Univers governing access to and use of the Licensed Software;
"Univers", "we", "us", "our", or "Company" means Univers Pte. Ltd. and its affiliates.
"You" or "Your" means the end user of our Licensed Software.
Scope and Applicability
This Privacy Notice applies when we act as the Data Processor, which Processes your Personal Information following this Privacy Notice with instructions provided by the Data Controller within the separate Subscription Agreement.

1. Collection of Personal Information
We collect your Personal Information from the Customer who represents you.

2. Processing of Your Personal Information
We Process your Personal Information for the following purposes and rely on the following legal bases:

3. Transferring of Personal Information
Personal Information may be transferred to and stored outside your country of residence. An Intragroup Data Processing Agreement is in place to manage the transfer of Personal Information across different jurisdictions. This agreement incorporates the EU Commission Approved Standard Contractual Clauses, as well as other transfer mechanisms, and regulates the transfer of Personal Information from the EEA to locations outside the EEA, as well as among other regions where group entities operate.
We may also disclose your Personal Information when disclosure is required to comply with applicable Data Protection Laws, enforce our policies, and protect our rights, property, or safety.

4. Protection of Personal Information
We implemented administrative, technical, and physical security measures to minimize and safeguard against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, and unauthorized disclosure or access to the Personal Information.
5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies (collectively, "cookies") to optimize or improve the performance of our Licensed Software. For more information about cookies and how we use them, please read our Cookie Notice.
6. Retention Period of Personal Information
We retain your Personal Information for a period consistent with the original purpose of collection and to fulfill our legal obligations. We will delete your Personal Information after the applicable retention periods in accordance with applicable law.
7. Rights to Personal Information
We will respond without undue delay when we receive your request to exercise your rights. You can exercise your rights by contacting your company representative or submitting a request to privacy@univers.com.

We maintain the accuracy and completeness of your Personal Information based on the information provided by your company representative. You must inform us via email at privacy@univers.com of any updates to your Personal Data for us to support you effectively.
9. Minors
We do not provide our Licensed Software to minors under the applicable age of consent in relevant jurisdictions.
10. Updates to this Privacy Notice
We will occasionally update or modify this Privacy Notice to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, and other factors. When we post changes to this Privacy Notice, we will revise the "Effective Date" at the top.
